It appears as though I might actually be in town in early April. Blessing, mixed or otherwise... or so I must believe.

It's not worth worrying about things that are beyond my control.

So, I'm a little weirded out by my alter ego.

Apparently someone with my exact first and last name is getting married the weekend after our wedding. And they're registered at the exact same stores we are.*

What if a not-as-close cousin confuses California with Texas, June 9 with 16, and disregards that my fiance's name is Tom? We're really just happy to have people attend, but if someone is going to be so generous as to gift us with something, I will not have that Texan NAME-STEALER steal it!

*Our taste is better, though.

And you are registered where? Hmm?

Prudence 02-28-2007 03:25 PM

Oh, the joy of having an unusual name. We considered it shocking that anyone else with my last name was registered, and nothing close on the first and last combo.

katiesue 02-28-2007 03:30 PM

My cousins owned the hardware store where we were registered, so we didn't have any name confusion issues.

Did you register at the Twilight Zone??

It's after 5:00 and I'm all alone in the lab. so natch, I'm on LoT!

Oh, and on top of everything else, I'm being "questioned" by the IRS. Got a April 10th appointment.
