Speaking of which, I have a set of color coordinated* cutting mats, and presumably we have a picnic table at the site, so you probably don't need to worry about a cutting board. (not that you need that for pancakes, but other things we serve, or lunch prep, etc)

(*- the colors of the mats are assigned to specific categories of food, to prevent cross-contamination, which will be especially handy where there is a lack of hot water with which to sanitize things)

Coolness. Sounds like a plan.

I also saw this contraption at the camp store yesterday.

Although, we have at least one french press we are bringing. I will drink ANYTHING coffee in the morning.

French Press? Dutch Oven? Chairs?

Sayyyyy, what kind of camping trip is this anyhow?

:D

They have this nifty invention for bringing the comforts of modern living to the wild outdoors:

Suburbs.

I believe we have access and should be able to bring a coffee maker similar to the one in NA's post.

The dutch oven has a long-standing tradition of use with camping. As for the other accouterments........They are camp necessities as far as I'm concerned.

If I go, I'll bring my chaise lounge.

A hammock would be better, IMHO.

I hit the REI sale on Saturday and got a few things.

The girl who checked me out said they should be having a used equipment sale coming up in June (each store does it at a different time) and that they have incredible deals.

My tent and cooler should be arriving in Huntington Beach on Wednesday. If I can make it through the store experience without buying anything else, I'll be amazed.
