That is cool! Pass some mojo on the boss for me!

My mother takes this all one step further. My Dad died in 1990. She's still at the same address and occasionally a credit card application or the lot will arrive addressed to my Dad. She actually takes the time to phone them, wait on hold, then curse them out for sending something to someone who's been dead for 17 years.

She also takes the time to forward any junk mail I or my sister receive at her address. We keep telling her just open it if it's trash throw it out. But my mother is a huge beliver in rules. And the rule is you don't open anything that isn't specifically addressed to you. So she forwards it. Hmm now that I think of it how does she justify opening the stuff addressed to Dad?

If insanity's heriditary I'm screwed.

So, I'm sitting upstairs, trying to get a little homework done, and all I can hear is my grandma trying to reason with my aunt. Right now, I can't tell if I'm embarassed, ashamed, or just pity those in my own family who choose to treat my grandma the way they have been.

It's hard to hear my aunt tell my grandma that she (my grandma) is punishing my uncle (her brother) and therefore is punishing the entire family, when in reality, it is the majority of my family who have been punishing themselves all along.

If anyone needs me, in about 5 minutes I'm going to be on hug patrol.

Oh, that's right! Wow, is that the lab that has the live biological cell CPU that can serch the net in a million directions at the same time with each live cell searching independantly? ;)

I'll take beakers of technicolor bubbling mystery liquids over orange cable, LEDs and a LOT of fan noise, but that's just me. Although lately I've been filling in for QC, and have been spending a third of my time doing computer entry.

I like it, for the most part. I wish it was closer to where I live, but hey it's a job. There's a lot that needs to be done. Ch-ch-changes. ;)

I learned a lot about Manga today. I had to help restock ten shelves of it. Some of it looks very interesting. :D

I also found out that I get to check books out like at a library. I currently have the graphic novel '300' and the Walt Disney bio by Gabler on loan for 2 weeks. Pretty sweet.

I also have a 33% discount that I'm thrilled about. :)

So far, so good. And the best part of all, I found out that our cafe makes milkshakes.
:D
