Our dinner two nights ago consisted of low-sodium bacon and honey-butter biscuits. Total comfort food.

We're having beef barley soup and cornbread tonight. Very autumnal.

You know, I've taken to using a bit of bacon grease with a flecks of bacon bits in my corn muffins and they're to die for.

I always make extra so I can make cornbread croutons later...
