My mommy makes her matzo ball soup from the Manischewitz mix.

My brain is wondering whether they sell that in Utah... Hmmm...

Probably at Safeway.

In the Kosher food section at the grocery store.

Erica, if you find kosher food at a Utah supermarket, I'll be very impressed.

They had a small one at a Kroger or some major grocery store years ago.

Is Manischewitz matzo ball soup mix limited to kosher food offerings? I generally just see it in the soup aisle with all the other stuff. Even when I was a kid growing up in a small poor part of a suburb town and didn't know a single Jew (though I'm sure they were sneaking about in the shadows).

I would be surprised (but it wouldn't be the first time) to learn it was difficult to find in Utah anywhere that has reasonably full sized grocery stores.

Salt Lake is a major city with major city offerings like full size grocery stores and the Gap.

I made matzoh ball soup last night using an organic mix I got at Whole Foods.
