Lol! Yeah, I can see where they might be problematic. I had a hard time with mac and cheese tonight- this is going to be interesting.

You'll also want to avoid eating popcorn, corn on the cob, and ribs on the bone.

My sisters had a hard time with everything for about a week and a half after they got their braces. Stick to the real softies and slurpies - soup, pudding, applesauce, then later-on branch into the salads and mac & cheese. At least that seemed to work for them.

Sorry you're so sore. :(

My sympathies to Eric on the new organ grinders :(

Man, it's disheartening to spend tons of time trying on mid-priced sunglasses, finally put on a pair that looks fantastic...and then realize you grabbed a $140 pair.

Oh well, I eventually found ones I like and can afford, but I still wish I could justify $140 for sunglasses 'cause they really do look damned good.

Actually, what I really wish is that there were some more middle ground options in the sunglasses world. Somewhere between the supermarket/mid-mall kiosk $12 pairs and the Sunglass Hut $140 pairs. I'd be willing to pay $40-$50 for a decent pair, but they are few and far between. And when you do find them, they are usually ugly.

Well, so far you have the best food advice. My cube mate says, give it a week and you will feel much better.

As Soupy Sales used to say, "Be true to your teeth and they will never be false to you."

I'm not inclined to pay more than $12 for something I'm likely to lose in a week, but if it's any consolation, $140 strikes me as relatively cheap compared to the designer eyewear prices I've gawked at.
