Sgt. Preston's! It just came to me. All afternoon, all I could think of was "Yukon Clem," but perhaps that was one of the characters. Klondike Kate was another one. Hahahaha!! Loved that show - - tho I think I only saw it twice. I think we went because it was the only way to get a drink anywhere near Disneyland. ;)

Exactly! - and I recall being amazed that there was this sort of entertainment outside the park. Otherwise I came to the hotel to check out the fake beach

Oi, the days of the fake beach are numbered, too (though I'm not sure there's any more sand over by that weird pool in the back).

When I visited the hotel yesterday, there were walls up near the waterfalls - and my heart skipped several beats.

But the falls are still there - - for now. Lots of construction going on at the Bonita, though. Good news is, the balconies on the top floor will be staying, as well as the ones on both ends of all floors. Those rooms will have sliding glass doors ... and I expect there to be daily fist fights in the lobby for any of those rooms.

The new suites in the hotel are each themed to a land or attraction, and word is they are coming out quite beautiful. Rumor has it the Wrather Suite is going to be the Tomorrowland Suite in the hotel's next incarnation. That would be rad!

You know... if you go on this thing called the internet and pay money you can get a ticket for a very quick trip to CA. There's this place called an airport and if you give them your ticket they will let you on a plane and you will be here!

Now that has some potential - I always thought the Park missed out on an opportunity during the recent Shag years to make a Space age bachelor pad lounge in Tomorrowland a la Encounters - I hear they did something like this during one of the Grad Nights.
