(mind you, same place, they werent all meets)
And what did he say? "Oh, I knew who you were" :p

And you... well you and I sat back to back at lunch. That doesnt exactly lend itself to lasting memories!

I have to admit that the Pirates meet/sinking was a bit of a blurr for me. I was really in LA for my Grandmothers funeral and I had a few hours after I arrived before the rest of the family came in. Rather than spend it sitting in an LAX arrival gate I chose a little comfort trip. The meet was a happy coincidence for me. Which is why I was wearing a suite coat to DL....

Then to make matters worse, when I arrived at the meet for my surprise grand entrance, I tripped while stepping over the rope into the seating area and fell flat on my face. Fortunately the main body of the group was seated towards the back of the seating area and either missed my swan dive or were kind enough to not mention it.....

whom.

Ponine 07-11-2006 02:03 PM

I understand completely.
Well, I understand Moonliner, not GD.

I did not see the swan dive, nor had I heard about it till this moment.
I just happened to turn around while on the phone with LibraryVixen, running through the list of attendees with her, and saw a guy in a suit coat.
I dont think at that moment I knew who you were. I found out fairly quickly however.

That aside, it was very nice to not meet you. ;)

Yeah, I know it was a comment on Ponine's post not mine...

Then again it could be the sound of a large body hitting the ground, but that would be more like whooom...

But in any case I'm not one to pass up a shot at GD. :)

Actually, it was a comment on the thread title.

I thought it was clear.

Moonliner 07-11-2006 02:32 PM

Well then in that case I guess I'll have to stand by my origional statement.

Not Afraid 07-11-2006 02:34 PM

Whatever.

I hate the word "whom". It aways reminds me of my evil pedantic older sister.....ir ELDEST sister as she would correct me.
