Normally, no, but since this is an "Enchanted Race Invitational" event, us Masters teams are once again allowed to pay and play for real. Which is what makes this such a momentous ocassion, the first live competition between us and the Denton Affair. Before that, we were always in the quests-only category while they were in the combined. And they were unable to compete in the first Enchanted Race Invitational as iSm had a wedding to officiate.

I tought Enchanted Race was the exception but I couldn't remember.

If we do crappy, I will trot out the excuse than one-third of our team won't be playing. We are like a well-oiled machine, and the absence of one third of our winning juggernaut is likely to make a bit of difference.


(Though, of course, the only other time we "really" played with two-thirds of our team .... well, we still came in First.)

I get to use the "but I'm new!" excuse. And bat my eyelashes.



And then giggle as the other teams bob about in our wake.

I miss trivia

There will be trivia for prizes at the awards ceremony.

I love the triva also, but spent very little time on it because I was busy doing the quests.
