We lived on Broadway many years ago (next door to Strangler Lewis) and, let me tell you, Holloween on Broadway is FUN STUFF! (Of course, I was between the Mine Shaft and Lil' Lucy's (a DK bar).

Yeah, I was going to vote that way, too. (All the rent money basically thrown away, and all that). But the lure of a party space above The Lubery is too great to pass up. I vote rental!

OMFG!!!!!

We went to see the apartment over Lubery. Incredible! The building was built by a furrier in the 30's. His showroom was where Lubery is now. He had a workshop behind, and an apartment to one side and above. Here are some pictures of the apartment. The hidden built-in cabinets behind the paneling in the living/dining room are original. The kitchen and bathroom are completely original too. Wow!
