That's why California sucks. No Italian ices at every pizza parlor.

Great pictures.

How fun! And now I'm hungry for lobster salad.

Thanks for sharing your pics!:snap:

aaaaaaand.... here it is. Heidi in her dress.

TOM GO AWAY! I mean that with all of the sufficient and appropriately expressed affection in my heart.

Spoiler:

It's from a blurry camera; my apologies. You get the drift, though.

That last one is the bustle; the train's longer than I expected (but it's pretty!)

Gorgeous, H!!! You look stunning, and I'm sure you'll look even more so on the big day!!

Thank you so much for sharing all of this with us... it means a lot to us that can't make it out there for the trip!

You are lovely in white, fair maiden (oops, hope I didn't give too much away!) ;)

Aww, thanks, ladies! I think I definitely picked the right one (though for quite awhile before it came in, I wondered if I should've gone for something a little more vintage-looking. Then I saw "Sabrina," and decided it was vintage-looking enough.) And it fits! And it's flattering! I'm relieved.

I'm a little sad about the lack of vintage hair know-how in Midland (her vintage turned out more bad 80s than sleek 40s)... but I can't expect my little home town to be Los Angeles. I'm almost tempted to do my own damn hair, but I think that'd be an extra stress on myself that I probably don't need. Still, having *her* do my hair might be cause just the same stress level. Ah, well, at least she's asked me to bring in my own foam rollers; I *know* my hair works in those.

In other news, I just found the COOLEST gifts for the chicks standing up with us. (But it's killing me-- I can't show them to you because somebody on here is a part of all that!)
