Ok, ok. If I had $300 to buy one item of clothing today...I'd buy whatever shirt was closest to the door at Macy*s and spend the rest at Cinnabon.

I KNEW I liked Alex!

Hello, gorgeous ... $147 at bluefly

Leaving just enough for this sassy vintage number:

I'm going to say that yeah, you probably could and without too much looking. Cheap Antiques R Us, one of the few advantages to living in the Midwestern sticks.

Well, think of me if you see something similar and I'll offer a finder's fee! :D

I love me some good colorful bakelite!

Haha! All right... all right...

You know. IRL, I actually don't do a lot of shopping. Probably because of the whole "I'd rather spend my money on X" thing (usually travel, gadgetry). But... this is more of a "well, if I had to spend it on clothes..."

Man, and here I thought I was going to find a pretty dress. Nothing really appealed to me. :(

As a more serious response to the "buying clothes online" question, while I don't do it Lani does so all of the time and I can't think of any major horror stories and returns are generally straightforward.

I'm in the market for a cute, fashionable trench coat. Something that will work in cool weather and that is more in the dressy casual vein. I only have parkas for cool, rainy weather and I need something that's a bit more formal for work or travel.

Let me know if you come across anything, fashionistas.

What length are you looking for? I've seen some really nice "car length" coats recently.

I tried to buy this dress this morning, and it's on back order until JULY. So much for wearing it in June. Sigh.
