This occurred to me, too. Then I remembered I wasn't watching Highlander.

Here are the questions I had after the finale:
  • Why did Nathan have to fly Peter up into the sky? Peter can fly.
(okay, this one has been reasonably answered in this thread)
  • What happened to Nathan that caused him to grow a pair and decide to save his brother?
  • Why the HELL didn't they make sure Silar was dead?
  • If Parkman was taken away by ambulance, why wasn't Silar's body too?
  • If Silar's body was already gone by the time the ambulance arrived, how did they at least not notice the HUGE blood smear leading to the sewer?
  • What was that thing crawling down the edge of the sewer cap? It looked like a slug to me.
  • Does mother Petrelli have a power? Is it the ability to bend people (or her sons) to her will?
  • Who is the super bogeyman who can see Molly when she thinks about him? Have we already seen this character or is it forthcoming?
  • Did the Petrelli boys really die?
  • Why did Hiro end up so far in the past? He's gotten pretty good with his powers, that seems like pretty poor teleport.

1. I agree that the answer in this thread seems the best answer.
2. I assume it was Claire's speech but relying on the last second evil/good switch is a bit of a lame device. Possibly, though, also knowing that Linderman was taking care of made him remember his initial good intentions.
3. I don't know.
4. Since absolutely everybody else in that genetic line seems to have one, and she is a powerful player in whatever group this is, I'd have to say yes.
5. I don't know.
6. A cockroach.
7. I don't know, but I like the idea that maybe he was involved in the answers to 3 and 5.
8. I hope so.
9. He's gotten better but in all the recent situations where he used it well it was a point he had time to concentrate on what he wanted to do. In this one he just had to leave without time to formulate a plan.

Oh, and for Sylar we also have to keep in mind that we have no idea what all of his powers are. He killed quite a few Heroes off screen and before the show began where we don't know what those people could do.

If, for example, he is turning into that cockroach that has been seen both times he was thought dead, that presumably came from some unknown kill. Also, cockroaches are a symbol of indestructibility.

And, from what I understand, New York City.

About Sylar.... I was thinking about the same thing, I mean the cops & feds showed up took parkman away.. etc, etc and sylar's body was dragged to the sewer system... I suppose they will answer this question and the one about Nathan growing a set of balls....

Any guesses on Grandma Petrelli's powers?

Persuasion? (She seems to do a lot of persuading on the show, to which others end up agreeing with once she touches them)

DVD Tomorrow!

I smell a marathon in my near future...

I was all ready to pick up the DVD until I found out that the HD-DVD version has exclusive extras. It's only on HD-DVD, not Blu-ray, which is the only Hi-def format that Disney is using. I refuse to buy two DVD players just to get all the movies I want (and the hybrid machines cost as much as two separate players). The end result is that I buy nothing for the time being.

Sorry for the rant - but this whole format war is bugging the heck out of me.
