Ok, here's the plan:

Stay home Friday night, maybe watch a DVD, not touch the internet, no regular TV or radio, go to bed.

Wake up at 9am, call work and check that my copy is waiting for me, go pick up said copy.

Read my ass off, since I'm supposed to visit family that day for lunch. Probably won't finish. DOH!

Go to Cemetary Screening....oh wait, no, how can I possibly?! Everyone there is going to be talking about it!! :( Grrrrr....hmmm......GRRRR!

Yeah, I bet she returns pretty early on in the book to help out. Halfway point at most. Maybe Hermione dies early and Ginny comes in to take her place.

I don't even know if I'll have the book by Saturday. If it doesn't get delivered Friday, I won't get it till Monday. Bah.

I will be avoiding all human and technological contact until I finish it.

Half my friends have signed off LJ until after the weekend is over and they've read the books.

I'm very strongly tempted to text message them all Saturday morning with feasible but made up spoilers.

Wow - some of you are really serious about this

I'm going to wait until September to buy this:

...then I will put it on my shelf and never make time to read it.

(It's not like I go out of my way not to read the books, it's just that there's always something else I'd rather do. At least these will look impressive.)

Hahaa, I wish I had planned ahead like MP and thought about the boxed set.

As for what will really happen with me... I'm heading down tomorrow to see if I can *still* reserve a copy at B&N. I can't do the late night thing.... but... If I can pick it up ASAP sans midnight line, then awesome. If the ressies are all gone by tomorrow, I'll just order it online and start reading it whenever it arrives.

Chances are, as much as I'd like to commit myself to this weekend, I could just as easily work on a paper and read later as anything else. LOVE my malleable schedule! Just gotta not go on teh intrawebs in the meanwhile...
