I wouldn't change places
With anyone tonight
We'll carve pumpkin faces
And watch the witches' flight
Every human heart will shudder
Every soul will shake with fear

Tonight
The creepiest...
Tonight
The scariest...
Tonight
The most wonderful night

Of (oh...)
The year!

Chip didn't win the costume contest. WTF? Shug Avery won 2nd and the guy dressed as a stereo won.

Call for a recount - that contest must have fixed.

Guess what? I was misinformed.

Chip got 1st. :snap:

Stereo Man got 3rd.

No hairy ass cheeks and fake sagging boobs with exposed fake saggy nipples at our halloween contest this year, mercifully. No particularly interesting costumes to speak of either.

Our department didn't enter a pumpkin into the carving contest this year thanks to what happened last year. It was straight out of an Office episode. Our boss all but demanded that someone carve one. He looked at it and decided it sucked, so he demanded someone else "fix" it (they shoved a couple circuit boards into the side of its head or something). Then, when it won a prize (I believe there were 5 pumpkins entered and 3 prizes given out), whined that he didn't get a share of the prize (literally telling anyone who made the mistake of listening that that pumpkin "sucked" and that the prize money should be split). I'm shocked that no one was clamoring for the opportunity this year.

We didn't have a contest. In fact neither of us dressed up. I'm not sure it would be much of a contest with two people anyway.

Ah well. I'll have to see if any of the kids show up at home. Some of them are hilliarious. Last year I got this montion activated witch that's about 3 feet high and flaps her arms and giggles when she goes off. Unfortunaltely there are really steep steps that lead up to my apartment and a very small landing befor the door. She was scaring the bejeebers of of the kiddos and I was afraid one of them would fall backwards down the stairs so I had to move her. One kid came back twice cause he liked my candy. He must have been four or so.

Nobody dressed up here. Last year I think escrow had a party, but not this time around. So I just wore a little black dress and my Mickey Bats Day pin.

For as swell and lax as my workplace is, we sure are fuddy-duddy about Halloween. I brought donuts - not much else goin' on.

I'm off to weho! I'll give some of those drag queens a good bacon-flavoured smoochin from all of us here at the LoT :P

I'm not off - I am still here at the office. As I will be for quite some time.

Pisser.
