Tickets have been purchased!!! :)

We are in the mezzanine, 8th row. (Our other option was to be in the orchestra up close, but way off to the side.... and the guy selling me the tickets said that it was better to be up in the mezzanine for a musical).

Tickets were $65 each -- we saved 6.50 per ticket (in service charges) by me taking an underground adventure on the subway to the music center instead of ordering it on the phone/net :) Yay!

So anyway, if you want to send me a check (preferable) thru the mail and you don't have my address, just PM me. Or you can just pay me at the show (but I'd prefer a check over cash there too.... that way, I'll actually use it to pay the card bill instead of spending it lol).

So we can see the show at 2, and we have a month to think of a dinner spot to follow. Can we just eat some Creme Eggs for dinner?

Thanks Chernie! Check will go out in tomorrow's mail.

No problem!! I sat next to this insanely crazy lady on the subway who was accosting random people -- first she would mutter gibberish, then she would mutter spanish, and then she'd go: "YOU! YOU SPEAK ENGLISH? WITH GOD! YOU GO WITH GOD! HE SEES YOU!!" ... like right in people's faces. Then she'd go back to chanting. It was quite the ride.

At least she didn't go, "alms! alms! For a miserable woman!" or "City on fire!!" or anything like that or I'd have been a little freaked out :P

innerSpaceman 02-20-2008 07:08 PM

I would have loved if she'd asked you if you wanted a little jig-jig.

(Would have proven how delirious she was)

Well, there are plenty of good restaurants and bars in the area.

A female Pirelli? What next, a woman for president?!?

Mm, probably not.

;) Bumpity Bump in the Night.

This coming Saturday, folks. 2pm. We should meet up where? And is there anywhere good to park, or is the Music Center parking our best option??

 Oh, and we didn't use that month to hash out dinner plans. Um, maybe the next 3 days? I don't know squat about Downtown. It's one of my least favorite areas, and I get lost there often. (Um, I'm sometimes known by the nick "WrongWay Figueroa" for my post-Edison driving stunt.)

Any suggestions from the Downtown cognizent??
