Now, had it been a thonged crowd...

There was? ;)

It was nice to be a DL for holiday madness even without fireworks. Pretty lights and good friends make for a wonderful Christmas. Oh, and I stopped at Disneyana on the way out.:D

OMG, TIN PLATES! I forgot to mention the secret roll-back to 1955 prices on a set of beautiful tin decorative holiday plates that, between 11 of us, we purchased 19 sets of!!

What did you buy at Disneyana on the way out of the Park, NA?

Morrigoon 12-24-2007 12:18 PM

How much were they charging, iSm?

wolfy999 12-24-2007 12:32 PM

Thought you could only get the Tin Plates with a $50.00 purchase, has that changed? Or did you guys all spend a fortune to get 19 sets of them?

katiesue 12-24-2007 12:38 PM

Since it was the last night of the promotion they let us get them for $10 without the $50 purchase. And you could get multiple sets (which most of us did).

No, they decided since it was the last day to sell the tin plates for $10 a set without having to purchase anything else. When I met up with the group, I was told by MousePod that I HAD to go buy plates. Of course I complied. ;)

At Disneyana, I finally got The Imagineering Way along with The new Imagineering Workout and, because I had to spend $50 to get my 20% discount, I added on the Jason Surrell Disney Mountains book and the Cinderella storybook with pictures by Mary Blair.

Damn....last night, oh well, should have gone!

mousepod 12-24-2007 12:58 PM

i'm posting from the airport and don't have enough time to type all of my thoughts right now - so i'll just say that I truly had a magical day at the park - even without the fireworks. I consider myself truly lucky to have such wonderful people in my life. thanks for suggesting the swanking iSm...

Morrigoon 12-24-2007 12:58 PM

Wolfy: lemme know if you still want some, I think they still have them at Company D. They had a freaking TON of them a couple weeks ago.
