Then it takes over NA's laptop and starts appearing on screen (and the poltergeist is some Australian guy)

Struggling recent grad from FIDM lands a spot in some fashion design contest/reality show. Busts her you-know-whatsis to work on a line to submit, falls asleep at her machine in spite of massive amounts of caffiene consumption, has some bizarre dream where she gets up and looks in her fridge for sustenance, sees bacon and becomes suddenly inspired by the appearance of it, and furiously produces several really bizarre (think Wicked costume bizarre) items that look way too much like bacon. Then she wakes up, inspired and starts creating several much more normal looking pieces that utilize the same color scheme, beating out some other designer whose all-brown line appears to have been inspired by the chocolate truffle they're eating in the one shot you get of them. And bacon is served at the celebration (for an ironic twist we could have the protagonist die of food poisoning from undercooked bacon). Chocolate designer gets last laugh.

Don't forget Bearded Dragons!
