Not reading the spoilers yet, but Wednesday I'll be in OC taking my mom to an MD appointment, maybe I'll take the long way home and check this out.

I went on it twice on Saturday - once with a ten minute wait, and the second time, about three hours later, I was asked if I was a single rider and I was moved right onto a vehicle. Didn't even get in line! Definitely a solid D-ticket. I'm not a huge fan of Buzz, this was lots more fun and very addictive. On a 1 - 6 ThinKrisp scale, I give it 5 ThinKrisps!

For some reason on this attraction, I laugh a LOT. It's just silly fun that makes me feel like a kid.

in the hoops game. There are Little Green Men on rockets off to the side and when you "hoop" them, they fly by with a blast of air.

interesting spoiler...
Spoiler:
but their is another one in the Little Green Men Ring Toss Game, Hungry Hungry Monster....

only issue, my arm hurts after the various easter eggs... at least in WDW we get breaks from vehicle pile ups to rest that midway elbow.

Good lord is that ride hard on the arms I had to keep switching hands throughout the ride as one got tired.

Yes, ones arm does get tired from doing a repetitive motion in the same position.

Hey, I'm talking about video games! (Doesn't anyone remember ye olde Star Wars game, with the 3d vector graphics?? Jesus my thumbs hurt from that one)

CoasterMatt 06-17-2008 10:59 PM

Interesting that you mention that Star Wars game, Cherny, I was JUST playing it :)

Duly quoted

I "rode" tonight and had fun, but not sure I'd do the hour wait in the sun again. I was tricked into thinking the queue was short since the ropes along the lagoon were all empty. I was tricked again when I found out the interior queue was not air conditioned. I also was reminded that it's been a long time since I had numerous children repeatedly invading my personal space...

None-the-less, I was glad to have picked up some Mint Chip ice cream on the way, I enjoyed Mr. Potatohead (though admittedly more after the ride when I wasn't rushed passed him in the queue and got to see him pull his own ear off), and thought the game play was much more fun than Buzz. It reminded me of the old mechanical arcade games I used to love when Main Street had an arcade with games custom built by imagineers.

Still, I felt this was more game than ride, the only benefit of the ride being that it prevents people from hogging the games. I'll ride it again, but I suspect once all the Easter Eggs are known I'll ride it as often as I still play Doom.
