Yes, I felt that here in Long Beach. Just one large jolt and that was it. Looked it up...was only a 4.1 near Hawthorne.

It was fun!

Of course, the cats do not agree. Sasha was okay after the first one, but Boris was just starting to come out from under the bed again and actually slept with us this morning - then came today. Now I'm pretty sure neither of them is ever coming out from under the bed.

Every time I read this thread title, I picture Steve running around in circles with his arms flailing in a mall or Downtown Disney somewhere screaming, "It's the Big One! It's here, I told you! Run for your lives, people!"
:D

Just sayin'...

hee hee

So, ya didn't feel it in GG?

We are heading up this weekend. Usually, there is some sort of quake right after we leave, I mean, like, while we are driving home or literally when we must have just gotten on the freeway. {seriously, after each visit we've had recently}

Are we tempting fate?

We'll be up Fri/Sat. Not at the park. Darn it, so cal blacked out Friday. :0(

My mom was here for this one. My hubby says to her "this might be your first earthquake". She runs into the living room, where a floor lamp is swaying, wide-eyed. I look, and note that wow, yes, the lamp is swaying, this probably is an earthquake.

Mom decided this "wasn't too bad". And it wasn't. Here. We spent the next half hour looking at the USGS earthquake site.
