Unfortunately we forgot to do the Kindergarten Cop tour. We had just finished a 3-day camping trip at Fort Stevens. Our final day we went to see the Peter Iredale shipwreck, then walked all over Fort Stevens. I wanted to make a quick trip to Astoria before going back home but by then my wife wasn't into the whole driving around everywhere thing and just wanted to go home. So in our rush it completely skipped my mind.

I didn't even know about the Ring 2 sites. My kids wouldn't have gotten it anyway.

We did go to the Astoria Column though. Awesome view.

I confess I didn't look up any of the Goonies sights when I was in Astoria ... but of course I was kinda tickled to be in Goonies town.

Like CP said... they were right to cut it.

Um, I don't think it's worse than most of the rest of that movie.

I confess I have a really weird phobia (brought on, apparently by my surgery last year)...a phobia of casts. I can look at them and I'm fine but looking at casting materials and thinking about getting a cast :shiver:. I'd totally be hacksawing the thing off in the middle of the night.

I also confess that I've never even seen The Goonies.

I confess that I keep the clock in my car set 1 minute fast. Always have and keep it as close to exactly 1 minute fast as I cam.

I confess that I wish all clocks were perfectly on time because a minute here and minute there actually matter to me. At work we have many clocks and they're all different. Sometimes when I'm waiting to go on break and it takes an extra two minutes for someone to relieve me, it annoys the sht out of me.

I further confess that sometimes I'm late relieving people on desk. I don't know why I can't reconcile these two things...

Anyway - all clocks should be atomic clocks. :p

I confess, when in SF I did had a "Full House" moment on the trolley. I also confess that it was fun.
