It's probably dinner time then!

A rather disparaging term for someone popped into my head today, fleshed out by a line courtesy of "A Little Priest". Which has been stuck in my head even since.

So dinner is now Shepherd's Pie. Peppered with actual pepper though.

pork chops with some sauteed apples, mashed potatoes and gravy and broccoli.

Unfortunately, I overcooked the pork chops a little though. I really need to get another meat thermometer.

We went to Johnny Reb's!

We had Steak & Cheese Flour Taquitos, Black Refried Beans and Spanish Rice. Either frozen, canned or boxed.

But the highlight was my homemade guacamole.....made it a fiesta!

I'm not sure. Pasta was involved. Gin preceded the pasta. I'm hoping it was as good as I thought it was. Oh God, it's SUCH a Monday.

Spaghetti and meatballs (specifically, the turkey meatballs from TJ's)

But more importantly...

Pumpkin muffins! I used the TJ's pumpkin bread mix (muffin instructions) and then when they came out, I used the glaze mentioned in the "holiday bread" instructions. Shiny, sugary, pumpkin delight. I suspect they could only be improved by the application of cream cheese.

Oooh if you added cream cheese then they would be just like Disney's, for half the price!

I may have to pick up a box next time I'm at TJ's.
