Nickolas finally found my old recorder. He had been asking me about it for a few months (I used it at Yamaha Music School when I was 4). I did a half-assed attempt at looking for it, but quickly gave up. Tonight he found it. I can't quite firgure out if he is playing Old Mac Donald or Mary Had a Little Lamb.

Don't forget to change your clocks ahead one hour tonight LoTers!

katiesue 03-10-2007 09:20 PM

and make sure all your software for your various items are updated as well. Computer, palm etc

Question-

If you set your clock on your computer ahead one hour tonight, won't it set itself ahead one more hour three weeks from now?

I can see a big headache three weeks from now, so I'll just wait for it to happen. I don't really use any timed programs that matter, and I don't have a Palm Pilot.

I did nothing I was supposed to do today. Instead, I bought a bunch of flowering plants to stave off the gloom, some herb starts, a bunch of seeds that will probably never grow, and a Meyer lemon tree. Tomorrow - evil work day. Stupid article editing.

If you have the latest OS updates, it will set itself ahead one hour tonight.

Wait a second - do you have a screening version - or a device that allows you to do such things as let us know while you're watching it in the theater?

Just wanted you all to know that our computer (and ourselves) survived the time change without incident.

My computer clock sez 7:45 a.m. Let's see what how the LoT clock looks.

ETA: looks good!

Now (well, later) on to all of the manual change clocks.

I was wondering the same thing, but was afraid to ask "Do you have an ILLEGAL copy?" ;)

I have my computer set for automatic updates (Yes, I blindly trust Microsoft because I'm lazy! ), and HP automatically does updates as well. So I guess I got the patch because my clock is correct. Funny thisng is, I didn't get the "Daylight Savings Time Update" window like usual. It was just fixed without any notice.

And now I realize that the patch changes the date of the time change so now it will no longer try to update in three weeks (IF they did the patch right  ).
