I just had a discussion with someone at work about knock-offs and pirated dvds. He used to own a store that sold designer knock off purses. That is just something I can't do. If I am going to own something with a designer lable I want it to be real.

I do have 1 pirated dvd that was given to me. It was Star Wars ep 3. We got it 3 days before we saw it in the theater. We didn't watch it until after the theater. When it came out on dvd I bought the legitimate copy. The funny thing was that all of the scrolling dialog at the beginning was in Russian.

I survived the time change today - we'll see how I do with the time change tomorrow.

Do you need jingle bells? I have the recorder music for that too.

Balboa is a variation of swing meant to be done to very fast music. But when you're still learning it's impossible to do it to music at that tempo. Last night my friend Paul was practicing with me on some slower songs and I told him it was Balboa with training wheels. He used that phrase the rest of the evening. When the phrase enters the dance lexicon, this post will be my proof that I thought of it first.

I am such a procrastinator. I have a ton of homework to do today so I gave away my ticket to tonights game. Here I sit, playing on the interwebs, not doing homework.

But it's been a productive day:
Went to work
Went grocery shopping
Ate lunch
Drank some water
Notified some friends about the fire so they don't get stuck going to Temecula.

Sooooo Maddy fell off her bike and sprained her wrist. From 12:30-5:15 in urgent care. Ugh. Xrays about an hour and a half in. The rest was waiting to see a Doctor, which took all of 5 mins once we finally got to see him.

Ugh! The urgent care half-day is always awful. Hope Maddy gets well soon.

Got a wee bit of gardening done today. Ryan transplanted a rose and did some general weeding. I planted pansies, primroses, tarragon, dill, parsley, chives, and shallots. Still have some more planting to do, but once again I'm out of containers. And I haven't even started with the seeds yet!
