You sure that's not ants crunching underfoot and chair?

For some reason that really drives me nuts.

Have you tried napkins? ;)

As far as I can tell, the sugar crystals the put on those things are small enough to pass straight through napkins, paper towels, plates, lead, Kevlar. No matter what I do, I'm rolling around all day on grainy tiles.

Eat your donut in the neighboring cube.

And then bitch about the noise every time that person moves.

You are truly evil. I knew I liked you for some reason. ;)

Ya know, I actually had to look that up. I instantly regretted it. It occured to me this morning that there are probably loads of things that I could have done for the first time, that you may be a veteran at. :p But, ya know, my brain was only operating on slow mo.

Hmm, considering the subject matter, better watch your word choice... ;)

I should have went with my first guess of an old guy, a religious guy, an atheist, a young guy, and a smelly homeless guy.

You need to get the donut and go to the sink in the tea-room.

Take out a small camel-hair brush, and gently brush all of the sugar crystals off the donut. The ones that adhere firmly are fine and can remain in-situ.

Give the donut a few raps with the handle end of the brush, just to make sure any of the in-situ crystals do not fall off accidentally.

Turn on the water and wash the crunchy offenders down the sink.

Take the donut back to your cube and enjoy !

Hey, Trac. Can I get you any lemon-filled donuts? Doritos? Burritos?

And GD, consider Krispy Kreme. They're glazed, not sugar-crusted.
