sooo..... this is why my mother sucks.

Today is my sister's birthday. I called her earlier, sent card etc.

My mom calls around 8ish. Blah blah nothing important. Dead people I've never met, the usual. So around 9ish the conversation goes like this-

Me- Did you call A?

Mom - No

Me - erm do you know what today is?

Mom - yes, I was going to send a card but I haven't had time. I guess I could call do you think it's too late?

Me - er - no, not if you do it right now (thinking to myself why did she call me for no apparent reason if it's A's birthday and she hasn't phoned her yet).

Mom - well ok maybe.

I bet she didn't call. She missed mine two years in a row. I know birthdays aren't a huge deal but honestly when your mother can't be bothered. What the?

My mom hasn't called me on my birthday since 2001 and that was just to say "guess you really aren't having a party this year."

I love her for it.

I return the favor by being unable to remember if her birthday is April 9 or April 11 (one is hers and the other my stepdad's).

Oh, is that what kind of product it is? I have absolutely no idea what putting that stuff on my head would do since

1) They never say anything about what the product is for or does- which is what annoys me the most about the stupid ad.

2) They most likely don't say what it's for because if they made claims it would be considered a drug and they probably don't have a liscense to sell a drug.

3) I doubt it does anything at all, and anyone who would order it from such an ad that tells you nothing, must have the same amound of gray matter in their cranium.

But that's just my opinion. Carry on, nothing to see here.......

Yep, its unabashedly homeopathic.

Five "active" ingredients and the most concentrated is 1 part in a million while the most dilute (and therefore most powerful) is 1 part in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.

Also notice that nowhere on their website do they mention what HeadOn treats. Just that it is safe to use. In fact, it is "one of the safest medications available on the market today."

Since you don't even ingest it, I assume this is a reference to the fact that unlike most other homeopathic remedies it doesn't even pose a small chocking hazard.

I completely forgot my moms birthday one year (got my actual dates mixed up) and I still haven't heard the end of it.

Soooo....
Yesterday, Tori went in for her second attempt at a palate expander, and it didn't fit again! Back to the plaster molding process, which makes her want to hurl, but thus far we've garnered 4 movie passes and two free pizzas. At this rate, the Orthodontist is going to be running in the deficit.

Less than two weeks to DL- I can't wait!

So why am I still at work?

LSPoorEeyorick 03-22-2007 08:04 PM

We're off for the weekend-- bridal stuff in Michigan. Bridal shower with the fam, hair trial, makeup trial, it's a busy time! (But not half as busy as it's been at work. Oy!)

Andy Barker, PI, is a very funny show. I like it, so it's sure to get yanked in a few weeks. Catch it while you can.
