Lol! No, not yet anyway. I'm sure she'll try it- once.

My Maddie does that all the time, as does her father. The bonus is that when she's not up on time in the morning, I can call her phone and have her jolt awake in surprise ;)

Sooo...

Got this month's electric bill.

$29

Yes, it's been a mild month, but methinks replacing all the lights, reinsulating the house and replacing outdated hvac equipment had to help

Aw, damn! I haven't ever had an electric bill that low in all of my married life. This months bill was almost $60 more than last month. I know they had mentioned things were going up, I guess so.

But, I have to talk with the 'kids'. There are two of them with those new big t.v.s. Don't those burn a lot of power? I mean, I even turned off the spare fridge.

I am just no so happy about these damn bills.

Damn! I've never been so tempted in my life to switch out the bulbs!

Nice bill...

Nice bill...

You saw Kevy's post about the deal at Ganahl Lumber, right?

I have two refredgerators, a pond pump, the computers, two TVs, three cell phones and 4 cordless phones always charging, all electric cooking, and a daughter who primps using every electric primping tool known to man.

I'll never see an electric bill that low. Although I switched out the lighting and can see a $60 bill on average. Not bad since it has been twice that....

i guess the critical issue is water conservation - at least that's what was on the freeway signs. "an OC water emergency".

bizzare, following a deluge yesterday!
