My review is up over at MP. A lot that is good in it but overall I wasn't much entertained. The movie will have its champions and I can see their point of view, but it just didn't gel for me.

The Disneyland references are really minimal (they're pretty much all in the trailer) but there a nice little tribute/reference to Walt Disney is worked into the movie and revealed before the end credits.

For the first time in recent memory it is a Danny Elfman score where I didn't realize immediately I was listening to a Danny Elfman score. That's a good thing.

I'm really happy they turned away from using all big names for the voice cast. More adult and sophisticated humor but very simplistic story.

Given my druthers, I'd turn into Endora, great clothes and always seemed to have much more fun!

I always wanted to be Serena, the bad cousin.

Speaking of which, one day years ago when it was on Nick. Maddy's dad was watching and said "whater ever happened to the actress who played Serena, you never see her in anything else?" Um yea had no idea it was Elizabeth Montogomery. Still makes me laugh.

I'm right there with you sister! Samantha was such a wimp. I wanted to be like Endora when I was a kid (but sadly, there are times that I feel like I'm turning out more like Aunt Clara...)

Samantha was hot.

Ginger or MaryAnn? MaryAnn or Jeannie?

None of the above.

Samantha.

Not only hot, but mega cool. She was the epitome of cool, and pretty much still is. I wanted her car in the worst way and in one of life's little ironies, I now drive a Buick.

This reminds me of when Erica and I drove to Monterey. We left LA at about 11:30pm. As we were driving through the middle of nowhere at 3am (and we knew it was the middle of nowhere because we already passed the start of nowhere) it was pitch black.

On the way home we were driving through the same middle of nowhere and noticed all these towns that we did not see before - because they had turned out every single light.

As a side, from the start of nowhere to the other side of nowhere is about hang loose far.
