after a week of walking an average 10 miles each day, i realized i could not handle the responsibilities of the new role. i asked that my duties be modified to help me manage an entire shift without working myself to exhaustion. the answer was a resounding NO. "it had been explained to me in great detail what the expectations were before i agreed to the role and i must do my duties as expected."

well, this reaction infuriated me. after a heated exchange, i said, "i quit!" and left that sweat shop" forever!:mad:

I admit it, you got me.

Never did make it to DLand today :(

OTOH, it's super hot down here, I can only imagine it must've been baking in Anaheim, and I had a monstrous sinus headache (for which my honey was kind enough to get me the meds and a soda so I could deal with it, awww...)

So it was great closing the park with the Lashpair last night, but I had to call it sick this morning. Nothing like a breakfast of cold meds and coffee to start the day out right.

So, just got the word that Kevin Brownlow will be in SF during the film festival (he's being honored with an award, rightly so, say I) and it looks like I will not only get to meet him in person, but we're having lunch. :D
