Oh come on now, Alex, I'm sure nobody considers you ugly.

I think I've been here a couple of years but I have been ignoring the nagging aches and wrinkles....

And, as far as the necessary hours of sleep; we were going over that with the kids. Hubster takes the least at about 6 {not good for me since I sleep with him and} I really do best with 8. The kids? Oh, 10!! But, the Boy has been having a growth spurt over his spring break.

Sleep is a good healing time.

I wasn't fishing for reassurances. But I think it is objectively true I am on the "below mean" side of the Societal Attractiveness Chart. I have good features and generally am one of those people where individually fine features (very good eyes and nose, particularly) combine to a whole less than the sum of the parts.

Not, not everybody considers me ugly but neither would it be true that nobody does.

But I'm fine with that. It is what it is.

I think Sac was pulling' the old Vaudeville implied, "...but you are fat and a prick" gag. (Or the old "Who's scruffy looking?" gag for the Star Wars geeks).

My lemon tree is actually growing a lemon!

So life is literally handing you a lemon, gonna make lemonade? :)

Well, it'll have to get longer than a centimeter first. I'm not sure what I'm going to make first, assuming I actually get a "finished" lemon off the tree. The blossoms are really fragrant, that's for sure.

nice thing bout lemons is the birds wont touch em.

and personally, instead of lemonade...get a nice piece of halibut or other nice white fish and marinade it up, squeeze that lil bugger on there, couple minutes on a broiler and have at it. (with the requisite side of rice pilaf of course)
