Oh I know, huh?

Nah, I actually kinda like 'em. I'd say more swanky than garish, but that's just me.

WELCOME HOME, HEIDI!

YAY! I'm glad Heidi is home!

I just realized I forgot to say, Feel better soon Susan, nothing worse than a lingering headache due to sinus issue!

Actually, it is a sore throat that is bothering her. Bad enough that she woke up crying last night. Hopefully she is now sleeping comfortably at home right now (I hope to head there soon).

Just popping in briefly to thank you all for your well-wishes. I didn't realize I was going to feel so dizzy, out of it and exhausted, so I'm tucked back into a bed - this time my own, thank god.

Tonight, I enjoyed an It's It for the first time in years - and find myself remembering all kinds of fun things from early childhood.

Oh... It's It

I haven't had one of those for years

Yay for Heidi being home and back on the interwebs!

Meanwhile, I'm in Denver for maybe the week - hopefully less. Flight was pretty choppy, but thankfully not particularly full. Hotel room is spacious - a real suite, not one of those where the bed is on the other side of a half wall. I have a room service salad, a bottle of pomegranate fizzy water, and I already finished my cup of chicken tortilla soup. All of which would be great, if it weren't for this bizarre cold and slippery white stuff all over the ground outside. And it's COLD!!!! Holy crap it's cold! I object and protest!

But, there's allegedly free breakfast in the morning - so we'll see how that is.

Still, no Rat to keep me company and snuggle with.

I'm glad Heidi is home safe and I hope both she and Susan have a quick recovery!
