Lounge of Tomorrow

So last night, I got an offer on the job I wanted and it was a good one. So this morning I called the recruiter to cancel my interview with the other Company's General Counsel, sent off an email to the hiring supervisor of the other job I was bidding for offering my regrets, and came into my seldom visited office to start packing up my personal things.

The whole things still makes me laugh and I'm very happy it turned out this way.

I'm confused. Are you taking the job within Edison or going to a new company?

Same Company, new position - sort of - I've been supporting it for months, but now moving officially on to their payroll.

Almost, my "office" will be about 8 miles down the road from my old office, but there's space also reserved for me down at San Onofre where I'll be spending some time as well.
