Made me think of The Safe House in Milwaukee. It is a whole bar based on the whole secret access schtick. A little on the cheesy side, but fun none-the-less.

Though they are mocking bad design, I think these posters are frelling brilliant!

Frustrated by stupid client criticism, Irish graphic designers Mark Shanley and Paddy Treacy decided to turn their "favorite worst feedback" into posters. The guys worked together on so-called "Sharp Suits" series with a team of other ad creatives, designers, animators, directors, illustrators and more, who must’ve all appreciated a chance to let out some of their exasperation in a creative way.
Here are a couple samples, spoilerd for size:

I've seen that before - many of them seem like they could be perfectly legitimate requests from customers and that the designers are just being whiny and not wanting to take input. Is "Make the logo bigger" really a horrible request?

Not that "make the logo bigger" is terrible, but if it gets paired with also requiring it not to take up any more space on the page or some other similar, absolutely contradictory request... So yeah, I can see why they mock them.

Yes, in certain contexts, ANYTHING is a horrible request. But the way these are presented, they're saying, "Can you believe someone requested this?!" as if the very idea that anyone would ever ask such a thing is ridiculous on the face of it. And a few of them just don't strike me as such. They strike me more as, "I'm the artist, I know what's best, screw what the customer who is paying me to produce something for them wants, they just don't understand." Which is sometimes true, but something tells me a good chunk of this is people not being able to take suggestions and constructive criticism.

I agree, the make the logo bigger comment made me scratch my head. Perhaps it was more egregious in context. <shrug>

Hey, the room with different colored lights is cool!

In my experience "make the logo bigger" isn't so much a problem on the face of it as it is just so insanely common as feedback from someone who doesn't really have anything to say but feels a need to request a change.

Also, it is often a sign that the purpose of the context in which the logo exists is being forgotten. Most of the time, your logo is not the most important thing on the page/packaging/whatever but then they'll try to size it so that it overwhelms everything else.

Using my college education to show off: the effect of colors/images appearing differently under different light sources is called metamerism. I (well, my Dad) paid a lot of money to learn that word; I gotta use it when I can.
