Uh oh, what's up?

Loser boss, mostly. Tired of doing his job for him and getting sh&t from him for it. If it were not for me, he'd be having no billable time. The firm is going nowhere and I miss working downtown. That in a nutshell is it.

Yeah, they are paying me a good salary, but I feel like I am spinning my wheels and that I'm being dragged down with the firm or just selling out for the paycheck.

So.....now to revise the resume.

But for the moment, prospects in SF financial district don't look too good. I'm going to shop to my old firm, as well, I left on good terms, but my salary has gone way up over what they were paying me when I left.

In 1 hour and 15 minutes I get to go to lunch. I'm not hungry, but I do need to go to PetCo and see if they have a pen type thing for the chick. chick is figuring out how to get out of her box. Then I get to go home as see if I have a chicken loose in my house, since I forgot to cover the box when I left for work this morning.


Oh, and I figured something out. My mail was missing Friday-no mail in the box. I always have some mail, usually junk, but it is always there. The baby shower invites were received Friday...coincidence???

Thanks! It will take a while, but I'm going to explore all options with the goal of ending up back in the financial district. Beside not commuting by car anymore, I will have better shopping options and I will have the entire waterfront to walk (which translates to better and more exercise)

So yeah, the Cable Installation From Hell...

I've decided that I don't want to resurrect that thread and just live with the happy memory that was today. Cable installed. Everything works. Too bad it took the guy nearly 5 hours (I feel mostly bad for him), but he said he thought it would take much longer. Verizon cancelled.

He got "nailed" earlier in the day. He's protecting his assetts.
