My calendar has some weird items preprinted on it. It seems that today is "Blame Someone Else Day".

Next Thursday (4/19) is "National High-Five Day" (as well as our 10th Wedding Anniversary and 21st anniversary of our first date).

May 4th is both "No Pants Day" AND "Star Wars Day". That should be a fun combination.

I will be glad when it's over, but sometimes I think that my normal job will seem like nothing after this.

You are like my husband. He moans about all of the work but he definitely shines when he is being pushed. He has such a heavy workload, though, sometimes it is overwhelming {it isn't a temporary thing, ongoing}.

But...he then comes home and expects us all to be at that pace he is in at work!! Ah, no.....

You sound like you are doing a fantastic job. :snap:

Wow, CP. I've moved a store to new, bigger digs. I can't imagine moving a library!

A week of 10-12 hour days, everything from cleaning construction mess to new displays and POS systems. Training staff on new procedures. Installing new fixturing. Marking and merchandising new product. Total exhaustion.

One of the best weeks of my life.

So, I'm hungry, it's not quite lunchtime yet.

I hate Burger King, why am I craving a whopper (Moonliner, keep your nasty thoughts to yourself ;) )

It's nice not to be the pre-determined guilty party for once.

Thanks, but apart from committing acts upon certain co-workers that would be legally frowned upon in most of the civilized world, nothing could cheer me up except getting the hell out of here.

(ETA: I just realized that I will be home in 5 hours, playing with him. That cheers me up! )
