The beans turned out SO yummy!

We're now cleaning up all our camp stuff and packing it into the boxes for transport. YAY!!

Pretty much, yeah. And everyone's supposed to have their own "mess kit."

Within that general guideline, there's always extra everything with everyone willing to share.

the one I gave you is pre set to channel 5, as is mine.

turn the switch on top next to the antenna to turn it on. it also controls the volume. it'll beep a couple times. you should see a number 5 showing

on the front of the radio, theres a button with a symbol of a lock and the word 'call'. press and relase that to call my radio. after a second or two it will make a sound like an old cell phone, if youre in range, mine will do the same. up in the mountains the range was pretty decent. not sure what the range is yet for this trip

to talk, press the button on the side with your thumb and hold it to talk. talk into the front of the radio. release the button when done.

The radio thing works by checking the bulletin board when you arrive.
