I don't think you're as much lazy as tired! Dang lady, you've worked your but off. Take it easy one night, and munch whatever is easy.

Or ask Chris to toss a couple of steaks on the Bar-B. Your choice! ;)

And take care of your self, and get some rest. Sheesh!

We came within seconds of walking out of the restaurant tonight. 10 minutes without finding out who our waiter was! And that's after the 20 minute wait to be seated.

Alex was so pissed he wouldn't eat at all.

My mom and I went to lunch during our lunch hour. We placed our order, and after waiting 30 minutes walked out. I've never done something like that before. It was liberating!

Those are the kinds of restaurant visits where I loudly mention the HEALTH DEPARTMENT as I leave.

So tonight was the law review alumni dinner. Last year: fancy hotel downtown. This year: second floor of the law school. We're not totally sure why, but for some reason the school administration dictated that all student organization functions have to be held in the building. Which is totally, completely, lame. (Insert Almost Live reference here.)

We speculated that it's something about the Dean not wanting the community to see law students drinking in public. So they held us captive in the school building and fed us bad food and worse wine.

Tomorrow night: moot court banquet. The moot court board claims they never got the "on campus" memo, so tomorrow night I will be dining at Palisade on the waterfront. I suspect the quality of both food and drink to be significantly higher.

Is this the even where you had to wear a skirt suit?

Yup, but I went in pants because I decided I'm a rebel. It was such a joke - most people weren't even in suits at all. The whole event felt like a group attempt to put lipstick on a pig. And not just because we kept talking about hog farming.

We had dinner at George's Greek Cafe tonight... In case anybody wants to know.

I'm bored and sleepy, but not sleepy enough to hit the sack, despite its being 1:30 in the morning and my having to pick my dad up at his mother in law's in Laguna Niguel at 10am.

But hey, first time in a very long time that I'll get to see him independent of his wife!

I need to try and recover from yesterday's lack of productivity. And it's a shame that my unproductive day wasn't more fun (although I did get a chance to explore new flower-drawing techniques with H)...

O well.
