Wow. I like the idea in principle, but the execution here doesn't make me hungry.

But, hey, thanks for waking up this very old but ALWAYS relevant thread! :D

Well, this can be adpatable, I am sure.

Of course, next to bacon, corn dogs are very yummy and threadworthy! No question!

hot dogs on a pizza in any form is ......... just bad

Actually that could appeal. Though I wouldn't eat them together in one bite. Peel off a corn dog and it is pre-condimented with some cheese and a little bit of tomato sauce. Could make for a good corn dog.

Then eat a slice of pizza. Though that particular pizza looks to be of substandard quality.

At least take the sticks out for pete sake!

Cadaverous Pallor 02-10-2009 01:50 PM

Perhaps instead you could make the pizza dough with cornmeal, slice up the dogs for toppings, and squirt on some mustard...

Capt Jack 02-10-2009 02:17 PM

could I get that with hot links and pretzle dough instead?

You know, I broke down and had one of those battered cheese-on-a-stick things they sell at the Corn Dog Castle in DCA, it was good! Good cheddar cheese when I was expecting something Velveetaesque, and a really nice texture to the fried corn meal. Sort of like eating a grilled cheese made with cornbread. Aside from the carbs, I recommend! You can pretend its less bad for you by having the apple slices instead of potato chips.

I like those as well, and you can put some of the melted cheese on the apple slices. I do wish Corn Dog Castle or Award Weiners sold turkey/chicken/veggie dogs, though. Even Hot Dog On A Stick has gone to all turkey dogs.
