Yeah, friday will be Food Fest. I'm looking forward to sampling the goodies.

Also, I forgot Tea Time. Good lord, where will I find tea...

There's a stand on the path to Expedition Everest in AK.

There's a stand in China in EPCOT.

Teavana is at the Florida Mall.

I liked their Splash and Thunder more than ours. Splash just seemed to flow better. Thunder was just better. A bit more wild I think.

Lots of people get dehydrated.
:)

Hot and humid describes pretty much every day in Florida. You should always drink plenty of water here.

Our Big Thunder is longer..... genetics

innerSpaceman 08-24-2007 07:55 PM

It's longer, but their mountain is just too cartoony-looking for me. I do like the scene with the goat, and the part that goes out over the water for a second. Yeah, it lasts longer, but does not have that great hairpin curve of the original.

That said, all Big Thunders pale in comparison to the French One. All hail DLP Big Thunder Mountain!!

I don't like side-by-side riding in Splash, and I don't know why it's daylight inside their mountain. So I'm firmly in the Disneyland camp on Splash Mountain, even though the Florida one is hardly a craptacular ride. It's very enjoyable. Just not my personal fave.

Viva la differance!!

Exactly. I'm interested in the differeances between all the parks and perticularly the rides. Why go all the way to Florida or Paris if its just another clone. Plus with all the wide open space, all should get more bang for the buck.

DLP's Big Thunder is by far my favorite. In fact, I rode it with iSm and Zappp... with Donald Duck merchandise betwixt my legs.
:D

I had to do some shopping before the stores closed and had to ride BTM one more time. It could have turned out to be dangerous. One of the items was a Donald Duck glass.

Ok - thrilling news everyone! I added an additional 3 days to my trip, so I'm leaving 3 days before I was originally going to!

3 more days of fun!! Wheee and it's less than a month away!

Holy randomness, Batman! *Zok!*

Actually, that's awesome, have fun! (jealous...)
