So I was sitting here pondering...

Circuit City is $2.00 less than Target (issues aside of whether you get the bonus disk at CC). Assuming that a car gets 20 MPG and figuring gas is about $3.45/gallon, if CC is any more than 5.8 miles further away (11.6 miles round trip), it will still end up costing more to go to CC.

And if you use the current government allowance of 50.5¢ per gallon, then if the trip is more than two miles away (4 miles round trip), then it is a losing proposition.

Yeah, I need a hobby.

not really. I often eschew the further-away "bargain" based on the price of gasoline, not to mention the value of my time.

I loved Enchanted! Very cute, great music, great performances!

Not much else to say at the moment, and I'm late to the discussion bandwagon, but I liked it and had a good time.

We watched it tonight. Very enjoyable.

But why does she put the fish in her mouth? Is that a reference to something?

I don't know, I just thought it was a byproduct of drinking from the fishtank.

But I'm pretty dense in catching cross movie references when they're not holding up a sign explaining them.

I happened to be at Bella Terra which has a Target, so I didn't even have to drive anywhere to get it at all. :snap:

The only thing I could think of is that I'm pretty sure the secritary in that scene was the voice of Ariel in the Little Mermaid, and the background music in the lobby was from that movie. So the fish tank was part of that reference. The fish in the mouth may have been a gag trying to connect with that in some way.

We finally saw it last night. Loved it!!! :snap:

We also own it, so if anyone wants to borrow the DVD, let us know. :)

I keep trilling that tune to the bunny hoping she'll wash dishes, or at least sweep up. What a useless pet!

Just put the dishes on the floor and let Bunny lick them clean!;)

At least that's what I do. My dog does a wonderful job!
