ok, so a big FAIL on getting tire chains before I leave. I guess we're just going to chance it ... but that means we may not be showing up after all.

Actually, I'm thinking of not chancing it. I'm thinking of not going.

Aren't you Mr. Decisive!:p

innerSpaceman 04-08-2009 07:43 PM

I have to decide in the next hour or so. If I'm going to cancel hotel ressies, they have to be cancelled tonight.

I'm pretty decisive, except when I'm stressed, which I am right now. I was looking forward to this trip, but apparently not enough to prepare properly. It's times like these when I wish I didn't have a traveling partner. I'd be plenty decisive if I was just deciding for me.

I know you and I have vastly different approaches to going places and travel.

But: Just shut up and go. That would be my advice.

DreadPirateRoberts 04-08-2009 08:56 PM

Go. If there was any snow, it wouldn't be much, and the roads would only have chain control while it was snowing. It would be cleared up pretty quick, and you could be on your way. Worst case, you park your car down the hill and have someone drive down and bring you up.

If you are, someone should tell Nirvanaman

Lol- I just noticed your sig line, Lash. Snow and happiness are not two words that belong together in the same sentence up here right now. ;)

Actually, it's been in the high 60's for the past few days but it's supposed to cool down tomorrow, and there is plenty of snow on Mount Spokane for your enjoyment.

Btw, 'Spokane' means 'Children of the sun' in Salish.
