turn the switch on top next to the antenna to turn it on. it also controls the volume. it'll beep a couple times. you should see a number 5 showing

on the front of the radio, theres a button with a symbol of a lock and the word 'call'. press and relase that to call my radio. after a second or two it will make a sound like an old cell phone, if youre in range, mine will do the same. up in the mountains the range was pretty decent. not sure what the range is yet for this trip

to talk, press the button on the side with your thumb and hold it to talk. talk into the front of the radio. release the button when done.

But now we must post and learn the 10-code so we can ask for each other's 20

Damnit, taking a vacation is hard work. I am just wrapping up a 13 hour day in preparation for the next few days. The good news is that I am not spending the first half of my first day of vacation at the office (like I did last time).

This is the down side of being a key player in a company

There you go - wrapping up the day is yet another use for duct tape.

Also - do you work for a locksmith or a piano company?

Don't 10-100 on the electric fence.

I'm totally going to start planning, shopping and prepping tomorrow. As I need to leave Thursday....this seems a bit premature, but never can be too prepared.

...and don't forget the fvcking duct tape.

Peace, Love, and Bacon!

If we swim really really hard could we still make it?

Probably not...but this is as close to an out-of-body experience that I've ever had, and I love you for it.

Have a great time, and send lots of pics.
