Well, this certainly gives me pause about paying my taxes today.

I should say so. The government can just deduct what I owe from my whistleblower award.

Where do you work?

I should have just stayed up all night.

I think I need intervention. Okay, in the form of a goshdarned kicka$$ rock show but still....

Heard here and there that Ricky Martin was coming to town. *snicker snicker* Went to the swapmeet by the Sports Arena and saw 'Ricky Martin' up on the marquee. *snicker, oh ya, he is coming, hmm, snicker*

Looking at cd's I found a Ricky Martin cd *scoff-snicker*...but I didn't put it down. Picked up a Linkin Park cd and slid the RM one behind it. When I paid, I paid and asked for a bag. Then I slipped it quickly into the Hubsters bag.

When arriving back to the car, I told the family not to laugh but I had bought a RM cd. Of course, they laughed their heads off. I said it was to exercise to.

Now, we must go back to, what, 1999? Livin' La Vida Loca was all over. One night the family was going somewhere and I opted out as I was too sick to even get off of the couch, was coughing non stop. So, what do they find when they get home {which I didn't hear because I had the music too loud} was me livin' la vida loca all over the living room. :blush:

I played it last night when I picked up my son from work and as his co-worker drove past he yelled out 'Help me!!!' I told him she probably thought he was just really getting into it. :evil:

As I pulled in to the court I thought of spinning the car around like he does in the beginning of the Vida Loca video....{but I didn't, wasn't my car}

I crave to hear it. I am going to right now, actually, since I am the only one here. I am going to shake my bon bon and drink from the cup of life....

Help!!!

{I understand new NiN comes out today....but is that enough?????}

Go out immediatly and buy GRINDERMAN. Do it now.

katiesue 04-17-2007 10:26 AM

"Mom can you roll your window up?"

"Why are you cold?"

"No your music is embarassing."

MouseWife 04-17-2007 10:29 AM

LOL

Okay, what is Grinderman? {oo, reminds me of RM dancing....;) }

And yes, he kept trying to turn it down and when all failed he put on his own headphones. Moaning that we were hitting every freakin' red light. :evil:

Okay, off to find out {in Itunes?} what Grinderman sounds like.

Not Afraid 04-17-2007 10:36 AM

Go here for Grinderman

Grinderman is Nick Cave.

blueerica 04-17-2007 10:52 AM

Got back from Yosemite yesterday afternoon (I'll post pics if requested). Just finished catching up on the 800 posts since Thursday night... who says this place isn't active? (Actually, I haven't heard that complaint in months)

...and Grinderman does indeed rock.

...and you need to go see Jarvis Cocker and Sloan - they're both hitting the west coast in the next couple of weeks.

MouseWife 04-17-2007 11:09 AM

I still haven't had the chance to listen {I am actually concerned because for some reason I can't hear anything on my computer, not sure WTH is going on}.

Okay, so these guys doing the West Coast, small venues? Love those.

Well, I was off for a bit {not shaking my bon bon} fixing up our reservations to Yosemite, what a coincidence. This is roughing it for us, three nights and one night without a bathroom and we are staying in Curry Village!! {I've gotten used to the more modern comforts of Yosemite Lodge}

I'd love to see pictures.

Maybe a thread would be nice of vacation shots? I know there are others here who frequent Yosemite....

Saw Sloan at Coachella 2 years ago and they were awesome. I even got a t-shirt, which is really convenient when I forget my name.
