I had a blast tonight. I started off going to listen to a friend's band, left them to meet up with someone to hear a diff band. It was a great night. Believe it or not, Bakersfield has some talented musicians. I do believe I am over my fear of going out alone.

So I stumbled on a message board for parents of children with T1 diabetes. I hit today's posts and one of the first threads that pops up is "So-who's in the clique?". Made me chuckle. Those darn cliques seem to be everywhere.

That is a complaint on my pug board as well. Someone always has to be the outside martyr.

Cliques are everywhere.

I'm just glad I'm in one! ;)

Today's going to be awesome... I can just feel it! (She says... tongue firmly planted in cheek...

I have a co-worker whose little doggie is seeing her last days. The dog has stopped eating and has been having stomach issues. So... I'm listening to her talk to her vet calmly about what her dog can have to mitigate the pain and the struggle of eating.

Makes me want to go and snuggle my kitties.

It's easy to forget that life comes with a beginning and an end, and all we can do is hope the end comes as smoothly as possible.
