Yes. In Hawaii they have road crews specifically for keeping roadside palms trimmed so they don't drop on people.

OK. It's bedtime now.

Palm fronds are a PITA. So are the trees. Our neighbors have some and during these big winds they look like they will topple. AND they aren't that close but the last storms have left fronds in our back & side yards. The one side being quite far from the tree.

I would have thought yucca {I think that is what they are called} would be more dangerous. Poke yer eye out .

Nickolas is a door holder. He gets mad if I get to a door before him and don't let him open it for me.

*yawn*

The winds of the last 2 days is really messing with my allergies. I think I woke up with a Benedryl hangover.

I didn't sleep much last night thanks to the winds, and now we're going to Disneyland - woohoo!

Got woken up at 5 AM by stupid spam fax machine trying to send us the latest news on, I dunno, some used car for purchase or something. But we don't know what, specifically, because our phone number is not a fax number.

This was initially frustrating. And then, when my cell phone rang at 6 AM, I was glad to be at least partially awake to discuss car rentals with the owner of the Detroit-area classic car company who may be leasing us vintage wheels (make, color tbd) for the wedding weekend. Phooey on you, rude limousine company. (Plus now, we don't have to worry about choosing between our 27 people involved in an official capacity. Nor do we have to rent a motor home to transport all of them at once.)

Someone was decapitated by a palm frond on the Jungle Cruise?

He knows I work here. We don't know each other as in we haven't had a conversation, but we work on the same side of the building and pass each other on a daily basis. We even used to be on the same gym-use schedule.
