Yeah, our parade was on the football track. My first year in high school I somehow ended up getting to wear a big papier mache mascot head (we were the Huskies) on the main float of the parade. I have no recollection how a freshman geek from the highly gifted program ended up doing it, but I had a total blast. First and last time I've ever had that many people cheering for me.

Never went to any of our homecoming dances.

And the only bonfire I attended was freshman year of college.

So I'm watching the RHPS Blu-Ray that just arrived today and whaddya know, I'm in it—a couple times! They shot the shadowcast stuff at our theater last year but I didn't know they were going to use a clip of me doing pre-show. I'm also visible (if you don't blink) in the 15th anniversary special. (Holy crap, that was 20 years ago!)

Signed up for Netflix so we could watch Glee from the beginning. Unfortunately, Glee is not available as an instant download - only as a DVD shipment only.

I don't have the patience for this damnit.

Business trip extended over the weekend. So put my rental car to use and put in about 1,025 miles on the road yesterday and today.

Started in Delaware and then was in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

Had lobster in Maine and ate pizza (but no ice cream) at Ben & Jerry's headquarters.

Maine is pretty much the only place I eat lobster. Guaranteed to be fresh. Glad you got to Waterbury. I ate the pizza they had there too. Pretty good, and a cool concept to have a wood-fired oven cart.

I'm not a big fan of lobster so having it in mac and cheese was a good compromise. And I expected just a couple of pieces, but the thing pretty much had a complete top layer of whole claw meat. A half dozen lobsters died so that I could eat their hands in a cheesy sauce.

Nova Scotia is pretty much the only place I eat lobster from. I'll be very, very sad when my mom stops going to visit family and bringing me back a stash.

McDonalds is pretty much the only place I eat lobster from.
