Starting at about 4:05 on this clip, there is some cool color film of 1920's era Hollywood Blvd. |

Oh awesome! We just toured RMS Britania, the yacht that immediately followed the Queen Elizabeth, and the last royal yacht, now docked and open for tours in Edinburgh (they won a competition to host her). Liz and Phil have great taste. |

Beagles are smarter than you think. (Except I'm sure 3894 knew that already) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-3EyMPzMoo |

I wish I had video of my dog escaping from a kennel. She climbed one of those and got out the first time we went on vacation. From then on we always had to make a note that the keep her in one with a secure roof. She never defeated the roof like that beagle did (I love the utterly ineffectual planks of wood and the cinder block in that video), but she had a disadvantage. She only had three good paws to work with due to nerve damage from an unknown accident before we had her! I would have loved to seen how she climbed a 12 foot fence on 3 legs. |

The other tidbit I loved was that the Queen would sit and have a drink with the crew in their sitting area often. |

I liked learning that the boat didn't have any double beds, only singles...until Charles and Di's honeymoon. :D |

Kind of a pity when you realize what an interesting guy Prince Philip actually is. Saw a documentary about him and the nature preserve on one of their properties. He seemed like a pretty interesting person. |
