My Dad had the rainbow suspenders. But as he was all belly and no butt it was that or constant butt crack showing.

Ok, so now I have to ask, what is a utilikilt? Do you mean just a generic one that wasn't actually your family crest(cloth or whatever) or do you mean all kilts?

Just curious

Utilikilts

SVU has been getting way more blatantly political and preechy in their stories.

So I've been scanning photos for hours now. First of my niece for a scrapbook mom and I are putting together, and now (since I've been at it for hours anyway) I'm scanning in an entire photo album, page by page (because it beats the hell out of going photo by photo!) from 1977. Gold, I tell ya, and not just the appliances!

As I feared yesterday when another person said that twitter had become blocked at work, today when I came to the office, going to twitter gave me the big scary access denied page. Time for a new phone plan where I can get texts.

There are always workarounds. Can you SSH out?

Alex 01-14-2009 12:16 PM

No I can't do that either, but I'm sure I could find some workaround. But for me the question is how far I want to go to circumvent the intent of the landlords.

For me, the answer is not very far.

Great way to piss off the IT department.

We had to take away an IM program from some users because it was only for specific users who work on a specific account and users who weren't on that account had access to it too. So the users it was taken from said "fine, we'll work around it and use backdoors". Guess what's now blocked. Guess who got in trouble for circumventing IT policies and content filters.

While IT policies may be inconvenient, and we're all lucky we have access to LoT at work, it's not in anyone's best interest to circumvent the IT policies to get to websites just because you want to. Please don't encourage it.

Sincerely,

IT departments everywhere.
