I don't do SO so often, so I'm late with condolences for Kevy and Gus Gus. Aw, what a beauty brought down by an evil spider. Bah!

Oh, and now that I've been confronted with photos of those ribbon fries, I've got a grease flash-back, and I won't be back to SO for a few months. Heheh.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Kevy & GusGus.
:(

OMG, gin martini + garlic stuff habanero flavored olives. Painfully spectacular.

Astronaut demos drinking coffee in space
Not "pretty" but damn clever.

Likes his coffee like he likes his space, cold, black, and neverending.

*sigh* Kids.

So I'm picking up Headliner from school. It's a warm breezy day so I have the windows down and the sunroof open.

Just as she gets in the car. Freebird comes on the stereo. The album version.

What else could I do? I cranked that bastard up and took the long/slow way home.

She kept looking at me like I was having a heart attack or something.

Kids.

(But to her credit, she was air guitaring it by the time we finally made it home. )

I feel your daughter's pain. Mom does it to me all the time.

It's good that she's introducing you to real music.

Freebird is real music?

I had to ferry Madz and three different friends around at different times this weekend. They learned to appreciate Gogol Bordello :)
