I realized today why I like writing lists on paper as opposed to electronically. The satisfaction of taking my pen and crossing out the things that I've done is too great and doesn't have the same joy when things are electronic.

Funny, just got back from several days of bean, mushrooms and nice black tea for breakfast, and of course reading with relief that Jerry Brown won (Meg scares the heck out of me) .

Right! I had never heard of Lehman Brothers when we left for the trip, and it went under while we were there. For a while I was convinced that Lehman was a British bank because it was all over the news.

I'm glad she's found a way to channel it into such awesome ideas and possibly make a living at it.
